Mireia Saladrigues: El poder de la convocatoria (The Power of the Open Call)

Catalan artist Mireia Saladrigues made the sentence ‘Aquesta ha estat la capacitat de convocatòria del projecte que estàs veient’ (you are looking at the potential of the open call of this project) out of dough and sent these letters to a random selection of people, based on their name’s initials that matched with the letters of the sentence. The recipients were asked to return the letters in order to reconstruct the sentence in an exhibition space. The book consists of interviews with these people -- both those returning and those not returning the letters.
