Examen philosophicum (ex. phil.) is an introductory course within philosophy and scientific method at Norwegian universities. These educational books contain extracts from original, philosophical texts. For the design we used elements of the original covers that we were able to track down, including a 1788 edition of Kant’s, Kritik der praktischen Vernunft. These scans formed the visuals for the two ex. phil. covers.
